Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The role of the Merchandiser involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:
- Stock Management: Count and organize stock, unpack products, and maintain accurate records.
- Visual Merchandising: Set up engaging displays, organize store layouts, and design promotional signage.
- Product Upkeep: Ensure items are clean, correctly priced, and remove expired or damaged goods.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Customer Support: Assist customers, answer queries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Store Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in both sales and stock areas.
- General Tasks: Offload deliveries and clean storage spaces.

Role Requirements
Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Completed Matric.
- Previous experience in merchandising or related retail roles (e.g. Retail Assistant, Sales Consultant, etc.)
- Proficient in English.
- Reside within 15km of the job location.
- Clear criminal record.
