Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented team member with excellent communication and organisational abilities. The successful candidate will assist the sales team by managing customer orders, maintaining accurate sales records, and ensuring efficient daily operations. A customer-first attitude, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and familiarity with administrative tools are vital for this position.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
- Proficiency in computer use; experience with NAV is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The role of Sales Administrator involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:
- Receive and input orders via phone or email into the NAV system.
- Handle customer queries and complaints, offering after-sales assistance.
- Accurately process sales transactions, including invoices and credit notes.
- Update pricing information and maintain a current customer database.
- Prepare purchase orders for transport and manage related paperwork.
- Compile sales reports, maintain dashboards, and conduct data analysis.
- Verify delivery information and ensure proper documentation is followed up.
- Provide general administrative support to sales and operational teams.
